This huge utility strips a few ANSI-ish sequences from any file.
It does not try to replace the escape sequences, just strip them.

I've tried a number of existing utilities, but most don't seem
to catch standard sequences.

The (flex) source is included in the archive with instructions
for making the executable with GNU-C.
